


After completing their training, Suzie at Birmingham college of food and Simon at Oxford and Cherwell College of Higher Education, worked for many years in exclusive hotels and restaurants throughout the country where their individual careers flourished until fate bought their paths together.
After several years they married and moved to Banbury where one very late night in the local village pub whilst talking to a friend, decided that they had gained enough experience and realised it was time to start their own business with the simple philosophy of providing fresh food, cooked well.
Twelve months on, 'Take2Chefs' was born and so The Smugglers was purchased in March 2004.
